Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance
By using ipget.app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
IPGet provides free diagnostic utilities for IP addresses, networks and browsers. The service is offered as-is, with no guarantee of availability, and may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the tools against systems you do not own or administer, or lack permission to test.
- Attempt to overwhelm, disrupt or degrade the service, including by automated request flooding.
- Circumvent rate limits or other technical protections.
- Scrape the service in bulk or resell access to it.
- Use the service to plan, support or carry out unlawful activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the infrastructure.
The network tools in particular exist for diagnosing infrastructure you are responsible for. Using them to probe third-party systems without authorisation may breach computer-misuse laws in your jurisdiction. That responsibility is yours.
4. Accuracy
Results are provided for informational purposes and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or current.
Geolocation deserves particular caution. It is an estimate derived from third-party databases: country-level results are usually reliable, city-level results frequently are not, and addresses behind VPNs, proxies or carrier-grade NAT can be wrong by any distance. Do not rely on geolocation for any decision with legal, financial or safety consequences.
5. No professional advice
Nothing on IPGet, including the educational content accompanying each tool, constitutes professional, legal or security advice. Verify anything important against authoritative sources before acting on it.
6. Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties — geolocation data from an external provider, and the speed test measuring against Cloudflare's network. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to their part of the interaction.
7. Intellectual property
The IPGet name, design and written content are owned by their respective authors and protected by copyright. You may use the tools freely and quote the content with attribution. You may not reproduce the site wholesale or present it as your own.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IPGet and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IPGet and its operators from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the service or your breach of these terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. The date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
Any dispute arising from these terms is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
